The International Federation of Insurance Intermediaries (BIPAR) has elected a new chairman.
The elections, which were held at its 2003 General Assembly in Portugal, chose Claudio Ruzzi as chairman of the Federation.
Outgoing BIPAR chairman, Antonio Vilela will assist Ruzzi until the end of the year.
Ruzzi will focus on the implementation of the EU Insurance Mediation Directive and on the strengthening of the role of insurance intermediaries in the EU markets.
