Event Insurance launches Royal Wedding policies

Event Insurance Services has launched bespoke policies for Royal Wedding celebration street parties.

With more than 500 street parties lined up in London alone and amidst concerns that councils are vetoing parties because organisers have not been able to secure insurance, the event cover specialist has developed policies specially for the Royal Wedding.

The policies can either be obtained via Event’s website or by contacting its team during extended office hours in the run up to the wedding.

Event managing director Lucy Scurlock-Jones said: “Taking out insurance for a Royal Wedding street party or celebration may well be a legal requirement but also gives the organisers the comfort of knowing that they are insured.”
