Ex-Mastek UK head of insurance Justin Balcombe has been made head of UK insurance consulting at Steria Limited, a company with strong relationships in the industry including Lloyds of London, AXA, Munich Re, Folksam and Swisslife.
Balcombe has experience of working in many different global markets, having held senior insurance positions in Australia, India, UK, China and Canada, for companies including Deloitte, Marsh and Sungard Sherwood.
Balcombe will hold responsibility for growing Steria's insurance consulting business and developing the strategic direction which includes focusing on Fraud, Straight Through Processing and Security as main areas of concern for the insurance market.
