Swinton’s former chief executive Peter Halpin and ex-directors are seeking legal advice following Covea’s decision to sack the executive board, Insurance Times understands.
The executive board was dismissed on Tuesday after Covea became concerned about performance related share scheme payments for the first quarter in 2012.
When contacted by Insurance Times, Halpin declined to comment.
