Two insurance company executives have left their jobs to start a liability investigations company.

Specialist Liability Services is the new venture set up by Andrew Whiley, a former personal injury claims manger with Groupama, and Michael Woolston, who worked at the Harrogate office of Garwyn the liability adjusters .

Their company, which specialises in investigating employer's and public liability claims has secured a contract with Lloyd's syndicate Trinity 2525.

According to Whiley, other insurers are set to follow, although he was unable to release any details.

He said SLS would be seeking to offer coverage across the UK and was currently recruiting additional staff for its Birmingham and Leeds offices.
