Berkshire Hathaway has confirmed that Milan Vukelic, the chief executive of the Faraday arm of the company's General Re subsidiary, has been dismissed.

The FSA had been investigating Vukelic and in May 2005 he was placed on administrative leave.

His employment was terminated in July.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
