Filenet, an enterprise content management (ECM) solutions provider, said it has launched an ECM compliance framework to help meet regulatory demands.

It said the compliance framework would help companies put in place processes to react to changing regulations, and provide companies with the ability to manage content. Filenet said the system could also connect with various legacy systems found in the company.

Filenet chief executive and chairman Lee Roberts said: "Today, organisations demand greater accountability, responsiveness and risk management from their compliance initiatives. At the same time, they seek to reduce operating costs and meet multiple compliance mandates.

"To do that, we believe they need a compliance framework - not a single point solution."
