FirstAssist managing director Steve Wood has left the company with chief executive Tim Ablett taking over his functions.
Ablett said that the move signalled a move from FirstAssist's disengagement from R&SA and implementation of a new IT platform to a phase of growth.
Ablett added that Muncih Re had set up two new insurance entities, DKV and EKV, in the UK to supply capacity to FirstAssist.
