The Folgate Partnership has expanded its regional presence by acquiring its fourth hub.
Willett and Ross, a member of the Broker Alliance, has been acquired by Folgate to bolster its presence in the North-east. The business will bring over £13m gross written premiums to the Partnership.
Folgate hopes the move will provide the catalyst for further expansion into commercial lines. Folgate chief executive Andy Homer said: "Willett and Ross bring a strong management team, additional risk management expertise and the potential to rapidly expand Folgate's presence in the North East."
Managing director of Willett & Ross, Mike Willet said he hoped the deal would improve its product range. He said: "We have been looking for the right way to take the next step up in growing our business for several years."
