Simone Romain, former group marketing director of technology provider Sirius Financial Solutions, has set up a new independent venture.
Romain has launched Romain Consulting to offer marketing and corporate communications to the insurance and technology sectors.
Romain said: "In a tightening economy where it is becoming more expensive to employ permanent staff, in-house resources often don't have the capacity to address unexpected opportunities or challenges.
"What I can offer is an injection of knowledge and expertise and an extra pair of skilled hands on an assignment basis, with no ongoing overhead."
The consultancy offers among others project and campaign management, market communication, customer relationship management and investor relations.
