insurE-com has announced it has struck a deal with Fortis Insurance which has joined its comprehensive panel of insurers.
Fortis Insurance is committed to trading on a full-cycle EDI only basis for private motor. insurE-com said the initial testing of the Fortis private motor product is underway.
Vice president of business development at insurE-com Dan Francis said: "We are delighted that Fortis has committed to join our panel of insurers.
"Due to their market leading low cost base, Fortis products are very competitive and are much in demand by intermediaries. Their addition to our panel will not only provide greater product choice for our intermediaries, but will also encourage many others to switch off their old legacy systems altogether in favour of insur-E.office, our highly cost effective back-office system."
In addition to Fortis, insurE-com supplies products to Allianz Cornhill, AXA, Groupama, Legal & General, Link, MMA, NIG, Norwich Union, Provident, Royal & SunAlliance, Sabre and Zurich.
