Fortis has announced the recent re-launch of its commercial online quote facility.
Fortis said the facility has been enhanced in response to broker feedback to allow brokers to obtain quotes in real time and place business immediately on cover more effectively.
The facility has been developed by Software Solutions Partners (SSP).
Simon Whittington, commercial product manager at SSP said: “The facility will reduce the cost of doing business, with full quotation, buy, and cover-online facilities.”
Fortis added that it is already seeing a five-fold increase in quotation activity, which is still rising and set to continue as new products are added.
Paul Chaplain, underwriting director of Fortis Insurance said: “This is another example of Fortis' investment in infrastructure and its commitment to the intermediary market."
