The Financial Ombudsman Service, the one-stop service for consumers with personal finance complaints, is hosting a series of roadshows for financial firms.

A team from the service will answer questions about the FOS and explain how the new complaints-handling service will work. The first roadshow has been held in Derby and future events are planned for Belfast, Perth, Cardiff, Birmingham, Exeter, Leeds, Liverpool and Newcastle. The new service will begin next year to replace eight existing ombudsman schemes including the Insurance Ombudsman.
