Departures follow appointment of new director

The three founders of Helphire-owned Cab Aid have left following the appointment of a new director.

Steve Bilham, Steve Johnson and Dilip Patel have all left to pursue other interests, Helphire said.

Their departure follows the appointment of Sandra Cox as director.

Helphire snapped up Cab Aid, which supplies a range of replacement vehicles, in 2007.

Helphire strategic operations director Jason Tripp said: “Steve, Steve and Dilip have contributed significantly to the continued success of Cab Aid since its acquisition by the group and leave behind a company that is well-respected and renowned for its high standards of customer service. I thank them for their support and assistance … and wish them all the very best for the future.”

Bilham said: “We feel the time is now right for the company to move forward under the new leadership and we wish Sandra Cox and Cab Aid’s employees and customers all the best for the future.”
