The Financial Services Authority has launched a 'Build your own disclosure documents' tool to help brokers comply with the disclosure rules.
The free online tool offers users a template based on their circumstances for their IDD and CIDD disclosure documents.
This new tool is in addition to the other assistance and tools the FSA offers to help firms which include web pages, a fact sheet, roadshows, surgeries, and workshops.
Roadshows give firms a high-level view of topical issues and findings from FSA research and attendees have the opportunity to raise questions with FSA staff before, during and after the event. Surgeries are one-to-one appointments with a member of FSA staff at which firms can raise whatever issues they need help.
The FSA has already introduced targeted information and resources for small firms as part of its ongoing commitment to make it easier to do business with.
