The Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) has declared 20 firms to be in default and has urged their customers to get in touch.
The 20 firms declared in default include a number of companies offering insurance services.
Following the FSCS's announcement, customers who have lost money when dealing with these companies may now be able to claim compensation through the FSCS.
