GAB Robins are to make staff cutbacks after it announced a wide-ranging staff review today.
The company said the move reflected the "ongoing significant changes in the mix of services that GAB Robins offers and to ensure appropriate resources in the right geographical areas."
GAB said it is likely there will around 20 redundancies from its loss adjusting staff, and six at head office.
David Germaine, sales and marketing director, said: "This exercise is part of the ongoing prudent management of our cost structure to ensure that we deliver a value for money service to our many customers.
"Whille there are a small number of job losses proposed in the traditional loss adjusting area, GAB Robins continue to expand staff numbers in some specific growth areas of loss adjusting, Robins Claim Solutions (Claims Management) and Sergon (Building Repair Network)."
