Loss adjusters GAB Robins has set up a division called Capital Partners to deal with its mergers and acquisitions activity. It will also offer outsourcing claims services to insurers.
Former Aon enterprise president and CEO Michael Garner has been appointed president, while former PricewaterhouseCoopers consulting services director Joel Weiner has been appointed managing director of the operation.
President and CEO of GAB Robins Joseph Zubretsky said: "As mergers and acquisitions proliferate, and carriers shift capital between lines of business and enter and exit geographies, claim operations can be disrupted and expensive to run.
