GAB Robins North America has expanded its engineering and fire investigations unit to include experienced microbiologists to conduct mould investigations.
There is ever increasing concern surrounding mould claims, particularly in the US.
GAB's national account manager for North America said: "Our adjusters are being educated specifically about mould issues that may be found on day to day adjusting.
"This enables us to initially handle visible mould issues and to determine the ingredients that are present for mould to form."
