GE Financial Insurance has landed an exclusive deal to provide travel insurance to Lunn Poly customers, one of the UK's leading holiday retailers.
GE fought off several other insurers to win the contract which was previously provided by Bishopsgate Insurance. Bishopsgate will, however, continue to supply motor cover for customers of Lunn Poly's car hire.
Customers of the holiday group will be offered GE's product free or at half price with their travel booking depending on how much they spend. Their purchase of GE cover will not affect any discount on Lunn Poly holidays.
Two levels of policy are offered. Silver offers: £1,500 cancellation or curtailment, £10,000 legal expenses and £5 million emergency medical expenses cover.
Gold cover has increased cancellation and curtailment cover of £10,000, unlimited medical expenses and legal expenses of £25,000. It also includes skiing piste closure, hijacking and travel agency insolvency protection.
Premiums per adult for nine days of cover are: silver £31.50 and gold £39.99.
Lunn Poly customers have the option of buying GE's insurance separately at a competitive price.
