Coventry-based GF Bennett has acquired the bike book of Bennetts GB, based in Worcester. This will take effect on 1 May.
All existing Bennetts GB motorcycle policies will be transferred to GF Bennett.
GF Bennett will also become Bennetts GB's sole supplier of bike insurance for new customers.
The managing director of GF Bennett, Michael Bennett, explained: "Both companies have been working closely to establish an agreement which will benefit the customer and remove any potential confusion surrounding the Bennetts trading name.
"The deal will also allow Bennetts GB to concentrate on its growing private car and household insurance business," he added.
