Giles Insurance has snatched the contract to provide insurance services to road haulage company Currie European Transport from Aon
Giles previously provided cover for Scottish-based Currie's international network of sub-contractors. It recently won the contract to cover its own fleet of around 600 trailers. Chief executive Chris Giles said the deal represented good business for both Giles and Currie European.
He said: "Currie European represents exactly the type of risk we want. Its risk management is excellent - the firm provided us with precisely the information we required."
