Underwriting agency Ink expands product offering

Giles-owned underwriting agency Ink has launched a professional indemnity insurance product with premiums starting from £50 for a £50,000 limit of indemnity.

The construction specialist is offering the product as an add-on to existing Ink liability policies and will also consider offering the product to selected brokers as an add-on to non-Ink held business.

The company is also offering two additional cover extensions to its main liability scheme, which will be offered as standard.

The policy will now includes financial loss and defective workmanship as standard subject to certain underwriting criteria and is underwritten by Faraday Reinsurance.

Keith Syrett, insurance director of Ink said:; “Ink are pleased to be able to bring to the market a low cost professional indemnity product, allowing more businesses to benefit from what was once a relatively expensive cover.’’
