Giles takes Brightside chief operating officer

Giles Insurance Group has appointed Simon Pearce as chief operating officer.

Pearce joins from Brightside Group, where he had been chief operating officer for the last three years. He was also managing director of Brightside subsidiary Panacea Finance.

Giles chief executive Brendan McManus said: “I am delighted that Simon has agreed to join the senior management team and his appointment is a further example of the high calibre of people that want to work at Giles.  He has all the key attributes and experience in operational management, business development and strategy that will help to drive Giles forward in the next stage of the group’s development.”

Pearce said “I am massively excited to be joining Giles at this important time and I am very much looking forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the group.”
