Scottish broker Giles Insurance Brokers has formed a partnership with www.theregister.net, an online reservation system for the travel industry.
The alliance has been formed in order to bring insurance benefits and services to its subscribers.
The travel website is used by more than 7,000 members of the Association of British Travel Agents.
Giles says it will now be using its "specialist knowledge and experience" to offer a range of services to subscribers to the website.
Chief executive Chris Giles commented: "We've been successfully servicing the needs of the hotel and licensed trade for many years now and currently insure one in three hotels in Scotland.
"Therefore, we recognise the critical issues of the industry and are able to respond quickly and offer independent advice on a wide range of services."
