Giles Insurance Brokers was recognised as Scotland's biggest independent broker at the launch of Insurance Times' first listing for independent regional brokers, picking up the award from the principal sponsor Royal & SunAlliance.
The list of Top 20 brokers in Scotland was compiled for Insurance Times by Grant Thornton.
Carrick Neill & Co won the award for Scotland's most efficient independent broker and Clark Thompson won the award for fastest growing broker in Scotland sponsored by Biba.
The awards were presented and the list unveiled in front of over 100 guests in Glasgow on 17 May.
The Scotland Top 20 was the first in a series that will cover the whole country. The next list to be announced will be the Top 20 independent regional brokers in Wales, taking place in Cardiff on 21 June.
