Generation Insurance Software (GIS) is to launch a self-employed liability package policy, underwritten by Norwich Union (NU).
GIS has also launched a buy-to-let policy underwritten by niche insurer igi.
The self-employed package will be available in three weeks and will include cover for contract works and business travel.
GIS uses an email-based full-cycle underwriting system that provides quotes, mid-term adjustments, renewals and policy documents.
The system already offers a shops and office policy from NU.
The software is free to brokers.
Igi is a UK-based insurer specialising in pet, extended warranties and legal expenses business.
