Debbie Coppin has been appointed as marketing executive at UKI Partnerships (formerly known as Green Flag Group), joining the motoring assistance marketing team.

UKI Partnerships manages the Green Motoring Assistance brand.

Coppin will provide support for large businesses and affinity partners who offer Green Flag's motoring assistance service to their customers.

Before joining the company, she was senior account manager at Bradford-based advertising agency Ladders (formerly known as Soup).

Combined Insurance
Combined Insurance has appointed Neil Baker as senior research and development executive.

Baker joins the Kingston based company, with a strong background in research, including a role as senior marketing analyst at commercial credit and business information provider ICC Information.

InsureandGo
Travel insurance specialist InsureandGo has appointed Guy Howe as its new head of business development.

He joins from the Miller Fisher Group where he was new business implementation manager.

Budget
Howard Collinge has joined Budget as senior manager, acquisitions. He joins from Swinton Group, where he worked in a variety of roles over the last 22 years.

ACE International
ACE International, a subsidiary of ACE has appointed Kudret Oztap as senior vice president, onshore energy.

He has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance and joins from the SCOR Group, where he spent more than 12 years. He most recently served as senior vice president responsible for the property & casualty operations of the SCOR Business Solutions US.

Beazley
Lloyd's managing agency Beazley has appointed Sarah Peters to develop Syndicate 2626/623's UK and Irish commercial property business.

She has more than 15 years' experience, the last six years of which have been with AXA. For the past 18 months, she was the facultative and specialty risks manager for AXA Corporate Solutions, prior to which she was senior underwriter for AXA Re UK.

Amlin
Amlin announces that bloodstock underwriter, David Ashby, is to join the business to expand its bloodstock account.

Ashby was most recently at QBE International Insurance where he was lead bloodstock underwriter for over eight years.

Zurich
Richard Bruce has been appointed compliance manager, responsible for all compliance and agency aspects of the UK personal lines business at Zurich Financial Services.

Richard has 30 years experience in sales and development roles in both personal and commercial lines for Zurich.

He moves from Zurich's partnerships channel where he was a client liaison manager, dealing with all internal and external issues relating to GISC.

BiB Underwriters
BiB Underwriters has appointed Melanie Fawkes as a motor underwriter.

She joins from Norwich Union where she worked as a life underwriter.

Grant Thornton
Grant Thornton's forensic and investigations services practice has appointed Alastair Whiteside to its insurance claims solutions.

He joins from Capita McLarens where he worked as a director for 22 years.

Winchester White
Winchester White has announced two internal promotions to the board.

Kevin Paterson, who joined Winchester White after emigrating from South Africa in 1996, and has been successfully spearheading the company's growing consultancy business within the investment market.

Chris Jackson, who joined the company from CGNU in 2001, and has been successfully building the general insurance consultancy arm of the business through involvement in various major strategic projects.

Chartwell Insurance Brokers
As part of its continued expansion plans, Warrington-based Chartwell

Insurance Brokers announces a number of changes.

Following the successful growth of the credit insurance division, a new separate company has been created - Chartwell Credit Management. Andy Smith, who was previously broking director, heads up this operation to promote the development of both wholesale and retail credit business.

Neil Baxter, Chris Skilling and Annette Fitzgerald become associate directors dealing mainly with responsibilities for risk management, client servicing and operations respectively.

Matt Jarrold, who worked in the corporate division at Chartwell, is to take up a new position as account executive.

Three new broking appointments have also been made with Tim Downey joining as corporate broker and Lindsey Gore and Rebecca Bowler joining the corporate broking team.

Browne Jacobson
Barrister Susie Nicholson has joined Browne Jacobson's insurance and public risk team.

She was called to the Bar in 1995 and completed her pupilage in 1997.

She formerly worked for law firm Bircham Dyson Bell.

Eversheds
Eversheds has appointed Jonathan Holt as it new head of legal systems.

He joined the firm as a partner in 1984 following the merger of Bristol firm Holt Philips with Eversheds.

He became head of the volume property group and the Cardiff legal systems group in 2001.

ABS
Mark O'Mara has been appointed as new head of IT at vehicle repairer ABS.

Previously he was head of IT for West Yorkshire chemicals company Hickson and Welch and has also worked in IT for Green Flag, Poundstretcher and in local government.

R3: Group
R3: Group is pleased to announce two new appointments to their Ipswich based team.

Natalie Gooden joins from Morgan Law Insurance Brokers, to focus on developing the R3: Member Benefits business.

Philip McDermott will focus on expanding the R3: Managed Services business, providing packed products to the estate agent and IFA market.

Disaster recovery specialists ISS Ark & General has appointed Richard Little to its growing project management team.

Little, based at the company's Staffordshire office in Hednesford, has five years of electrical and mechanical restoration experience and formerly ran his own haulage business.

Stuart Rootham has been promoted to the board of RK Harrison Insurance Brokers as the commercial director. Formerly the divisional director of the schemes division, he will drive the strategic direction and growth of the commercial division including schemes.

With 21 years' experience in the insurance industry, Tom Hunter has joined RK Harrison as a corporate broker.

RK Harrison has also recruited account executive Kelly Nye. Reporting to the sales director, Gary Bryant, Kelly is responsible for developing new business and managing the accounts of current clients.
