Coversure Insurance Services announces four appointments. Bryan Baines joins as franchise development manager. Steve Parker joins as product manager, personal lines. David Hague has been appointed product manager, commercial lines, while Steve Gibbons joins as marketing manager.
XL London Market
James Wilkie has joined Lloyd's insurer XL London Market as deputy class underwriter for marine & energy liabilities for Syndicate 1209. He joins from Hiscox, where he worked for five years.
CNA Insurance.
CNA Insurance (Europe) has appointed Colin Thompson as directors' and officers' (D&O) liability underwriter, with responsibility for D&O liability throughout the company's European network.

Company.Cathedral Underwriting
Nicholas Destro is to join Cathedral Syndicate 2010 as a non-marine underwriter specialising in US regional property reinsurance. He is currently head of property treaty at SVB Syndicate 1007.
Destro has been in the market since 1985. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
REINSURERS
Gerling NCM
The management board of Gerling NCM has been restructured. Three board members, Guy Lammens, Steen Parsholt and Horst Wieland, have stepped down as from 22 May. Lammens and Wieland will remain active in the company as regional market directors and, respectively as general manager and non-executive chairman of Gerling NAMUR and as member of the management board of Gerling Speziale Kreditversicherung.
As a result of the changes Steen Parsholt has decided to also step down as chairman of NCM and to leave the NCM board.
He has agreed to remain as non-executive chairman of the board of Forenede Factors, the factoring subsidiary of Gerling NCM in Denmark, and in an advisory role to Gerling NCM overall.
The management board of Gerling NCM now consists of Bernd Meyer, Gil Black and Peter Ingenlath. The latter will be responsible for all the group's risk and market operations.
In addition to his position as chief executive officer of Gerling NCM, Bernd Meyer has been appointed board member of Gerling Holding, responsible for credit insurance, as from1 June 2002.
Gil Black has become chairman of the managing board of NCM Holding.

Atkinson Smith
Beverley Brown has been appointed as a director of Doncaster broker Atkinson Smith. She joined the company four years ago, moving from a national broker where she worked as a team manager in the Leeds and Sheffield offices.
Brown now heads up Atkinson Smith's commercial team, with main responsibility for corporate client broking services.
Riskclick
Riskclick has appointed Harvey Rand as vice president of sales.
Rand has more than 20 years' experience within financial services and he brings a wealth of applications and technology experience in the software industry.
He joins from Alterna Technologies Group, where he was vice president of sales for the Americas.
James Chapman
Manchester law firm James Chapman has appointed Chris McSpirit as finance director. He joins from Keoghs of Bolton where he headed up the finance function.

Quest Gates Partnership
The Quest Gates Partnership announces four appointments.Roy Abel, a former regional manager with Norwich Union has joined as compliance manager at the firm's Harrogate headquarters with responsibility for the firm's northern offices.
The liability team has been strengthened with the appointments of three adjusters -- Bob Seeber, a former member of the Police Road Accident Investigation Branch and a specialist in the investigation of motor claims and fraud; Mark Purvis, formerly with ITT and GAB Robins and Robert Millross who joins from PCS.
Capita McLarens
Andrew Homewood has joined Capita McLarens as regional director for the South East. He will focus on both commercial and personal lines property business.
Homewood previously held senior management roles with two major loss adjusters, GAB Robins and Crawford & Co.
The Claims People
Pat Dunworth and Robin Cusdin have joined The Claims People as regional adjusters.
Pat Dunworth becomes regional adjuster for the Midlands, specialising in fraud and material damage and liability. He has seven years experience in the business with Commercial Union in Sheffield and more recently with Crawfords.
Robin Cusdin joins The Claims People in Leeds, also from Crawfords, where he specialised in all classes of building losses including agricultural and industrial claims throughout the North of England.
21st Century Health Plans
21st Century Health Plans announces the promotion of Ruth Ford to business development manager, succeeding W. Jo Clark who has ceased to have any involvement with the group.
Accidentcare
The Accidentcare Group has appointed Suzanne Murray as marketing services manager.
Murray, who joined the Group in September 2000 as marketing executive, will be responsible for the management and development of existing broker, intermediary and affinity group client relationships. Her role will also include co-ordination of the marketing and promotion for the Group's portfolio of accident management products and services.
Axiom
Axiom Claims Consulting (Axiom) has appointed Ian Henderson to head the forensic services division of its specialist consultancy group.
Ian Henderson is a chartered accountant with nearly 20 years' experience investigating fraud worldwide. He was previously manager of the investigations department at Lloyd's and before that head of investigations at the Personal Investment Authority. He now specialises in the investigation of complex commercial fraud.
Glasplus
Glasplus has appointed Stuart Robertson as business development manager. He joins from Splinted Distribution where he was business development manager and GM designate.
Andre Segers joins as business development manager for continental Europe.
Flagship Group
London-based PR Group Flagship Group announces the formation of a specialist Insurance team to be based at its new London head office.
This new initiative follows the recruitment of insurance specialist Barnaby Fry from Citigate Dewe Rogerson's insurance practice following the recent closure of that business.
The 6-strong team will be led by Flagship Group director Andy Berry, who heads the Group's financial and corporate PR division.
