Twenty-two boats are set to take part in the Insurance Times Regatta which starts tomorrow in Portsmouth.

With the weather forecast predicting mild temperatures and moderate wind speeds, all the teams are eagerly awaiting the sailing competition.

Team Ansa have been preparing for the Insurance Times Regatta all year - now they're raring to go.

Steve Watkins is normally Ansa's MD but he will be leading Team Ansa at the Portsmouth spectacular.

He said: "We are looking forward to having a good time down at the Insurance Times Regatta. It should be a great week.

"Everything is ready and we've got a great crew who have been training hard. We're really confident of doing well and we should have everything and everyone covered."

Team Marsh cannot wait to get this year's competition off to a flying start at Portsmouth.

The team already has experience of high-profile competition at this year's Cowes Regatta, so it is quietly confident of doing well.

Skipper Paul Fuller said: "Within the team we are quietly confident and we are looking forward to it. We are really looking forward to some good racing amongst the 20 yachts.

"As a yachtsman to compete against these other guys is pretty awesome."

Six experienced sailors man team Marsh and while they are looking to contribute to a fun event, its Skipper is enthusiastic about the event.

"We all feel good, and can't wait for the Regatta because it promises to be such a good event. It is the biggest Regatta in the insurance industry."
