Royal & Sun Alliance (R&SA) offer the best claims service, while AXA holds top position in underwriting - according to performance statistics released by The Broker Alliance (TBA), a group of brokers in Yorkshire & the North East.
These first quarter Performance Measurement Statistics for 2002 give an overview of the service received by TBA from its corporate partners R&SA, Norwich Union, Allianz Cornhill, AXA and Zurich.
Broker Alliance chairman Paul Meehan, from the Smart & Cook Group, commented: "Service delivery is an absolute priority for ourselves and our clients and it is essential that our insurers have this feedback".
