International healthcare insurance provider Goodhealth, has launched a new product from Bermuda that will enable residents of Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean to access medical treatment in the United
States.

The scheme, Global Health Plan, has been developed for expatriates and local nationals in these regions and offers policyholders a range of first class US medical features and service back-up including access to medical
facilities worldwide and an annual benefit of up to $1m per person.

The programme will be distributed by Goodhealth Bermuda, which will also provide technical support to customers from a new Miami base.

Goodhealth's chief executive, Martin Garcia said: "The launch of Global Healthcare Plan is a typical example of our policy of developing affordable but comprehensive products to meet the local needs of customers. It further
expands our existing range of bespoke products that already provide value-added healthcare to customers in Asia, the Middle East and Africa."
