Goodhealth Worldwide, the international health insurance provider, is to enter the UK private medical insurance sector.
Goodhealth's UK branch will sell its products via brokers and it intends to launch a range of comprehensive plan options aimed at smaller groups and individuals.
Derry Andrews, who was previously managing director of Clinicare, will head the new operation.
He said: "Goodhealth has performed well on the worldwide stage over the last few years and I see excellent opportunities for the company in the UK. Having built up a successful business at Clinicare, I'm looking forward to doing the same here."
