International insurance and reinsurance underwriter GoshawK has announced details of board and management changes amid reports of a positive outlook by the company.
David Hooker, chairman since 1996, will step down at the end of the year.
Russell Brooke joins GoshawK Re in Bermuda as chief executive and chief underwriting officer after leaving ACE Tempest Re.
Group underwriting director Andrew Gammell will give up day-to-day underwriting at GoshawK Re to focus on underwriting at Syndicate 102.
A spokesperson for GoshawK said its Bermuda reinsurance business continued to trade strongly and added that the company's actuarial and underwriting reviews were well placed to help develop London operations.
The management changes form part of the company's operational review which was announced in July.
