German reinsurer Gothaer Re is the latest capacity provider to join internet-based reinsurance trading platform inreon.
The Cologne-based company is initially looking to write European property facultative and European catastrophe excess of loss business via the platform.
Inreon chairman Kaj Ahlmann welcomed Gothaer as an important addition to the system's panel of blue chip reinsurers.
More than 50% of capacity available from the world's top 25 reinsurance groups is now represented on the platform.
