Motoring assistance provider Green Flag has revealed plans to research the safety of British drivers.
Over 1000 drivers will be surveyed about their attitude to road safety including fatigue and speeding.
Green Flag's Nigel Charlesworth said: "It is hoped that by highlighting the perceptions of motorists and comparing this against statistical evidence, drivers will employ common sense and wake up to their bad habits and think more carefully about the consequences each time they get behind the wheel of their cars."
The research findings will be published in conjunction with Green Flag's three-year sponsorship of Brake's annual Road Safety Week.
