The GRID Network, the insurance products and compliance support group, has appointed Budget Insurance Services to handle the administration of its home, motor, and related insurance products.
The network says Budget's appointment forms part of its strategy for growth which is intended to increase membership significantly in the lead up to FSA regulation in 2004.
GRID Network chairman James Truscott commented: "The appointment of Budget allows us to offer a wide choice of products to our members' customers, without the need for them to invest significantly in additional staffing and systems.
"We believe that Budget will provide our membership with access to sales and administration capabilities that are second to none, as well as providing a solid platform for the growth in membership we anticipate over the next two years."
The GRID Network was launched this year to provide umbrella compliance and insurance product services to intermediaries in the insurance, financial services and professional sectors.
