ATA Direct founder Hugh Hackett has launched a new desktop loss adjusting service called H-Direct.
H-Direct will specialise in claims for computers and equipment, from basic validation inquiries to making replacement and repair arrangements.
Hackett said as computer ownership increased, claims had to increase as well.
He said the new service would help insurers resolve claims quickly and give policyholders rapid support.
