Halifax General Insurance is introducing three healthcare products to extend its range of services.

The new range comprises a Personal Accident Plan, a Healthcare Cash Plan and Accidental Death Benefit.

This follows Health and Safety Executive (HSE) statistics which revealed that there were 226 deaths resulting from injury sustained at work in 2002/3.

Halifax General Insurance managing director Howard Posner said: "The ability to combine the products means that customers will have the extra choice to pick and mix thier cover, creating a personally unique policy to soften the burden of illness or treatment."
