Aberdeen insurance broker H&R Insurance Group, which specialises in bike insurance, made a surprisingly wise choice when it chose to sponsor the Grampian Police Pipe Band.
By chance, the band was chosen to lead the pre-match entertainment at Hampden Park in Glasgow for the European Cup Final between Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen, which was viewed by half a billion people.
Managing director Hugh Robertson said "The cameras passed the H&R name on the base drum on no fewer than four occasions. By my calculation that's 2000,000,000 people who had the opportunity to see our name."
