A SHEFFIELD broker ventured Down Under recently to raise money for a local boy with leukaemia.

Jon Harrison, a director of Sheafmoor Brokers, went all the way to New Zealand to do his sponsored bungee jump. The £2,000 he raised will send eight-year-old Ryan Gratton on a holiday to Florida, where he will swim with dolphins.

He has endured three years of chemotherapy in his battle against his cancer, but will have to wait another 12 months for the all-clear.

Cornhill, Zurich, Norwich Union and NIG were among the sponsors. Jon will be doing another sponsored 10,000ft freefall in summer to raise more money for leukaemia research.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
