Hml has launched a goods-in-transit liability insurance for hauliers, after complaints by high-street brokers that they have found it difficult to place this type of business in the market.
HML Marine will now provide a vehicle for brokers to place risk at Lloyd's, and it is promising same-day quotations.
The cover is suitable for UK-based and worldwide hauliers, and premiums can relate either to annual haulage charges or the number of vehicles.
Freight forwarders' liability, warehouse keepers' liability, cargo and own goods transit cover is also available.
