Norwich Union has relaunched its hauliers' liability policy.
The revamped policy now includes a facility whereby hauliers can claim for damaged curtain sidings under their NU liability cover. Previously, they incurred a second excess payment as they had to claim for the damage separately on their fleet policy.
NU has also issued two new freight guides for brokers and freight operators: ‘Lightening the Burden' and a Risk Management Guide.
David Shaw, NU development and claims manager, says: “Hauliers' liability is a specialist cover and many brokers are not fully aware of its intricacies.”
