A new health insurance plan has been launched specifically for residents in the Middle East - providing a 24-hour emergency service.
IHI (International Health Insurer) has launched The Solution Plan, a new insurance product designed specifically for residents in the Middle East.
The product provides a 24-hour emergency service together with access to highly qualified medical consultants, available over the phone or internet.
The plan also permits policy-holders a completely free choice of hospitals and medical specialists, even outside the Middle East region. For example, a person working in the UAE may prefer to be treated in their home country. Plus, when an IHI customer needs hospital treatment, IHI will deal directly with the hospitals regarding payment.
International Health Insurer chief executive Per Bay Jorgenson commented: "We recognise that individuals across the world all have different health insurance needs, which is why we have developed this bespoke product for the Middle East."
Policyholders will be able to maintain peace of mind as they are covered for life, regardless of changes in health and irrespective of job activity or leisure pursuits.
The plan also allows customers to transfer to other IHI products in the event of relocation outside the Middle East.
