Healthcare provider HealthSure has launched an intermediary-lead corporate health care offering , which it says is available for £1 a week per employee.
It said the new product was designed to directly address health related absenteeism, and issues such as workplace stress management and back pain, the UK’s primary causes of long term sickness absence.
HealthSure said the product also included the provision for employee counselling as an optional extra.
The product is available in three levels of cover, with premiums of £1, £2 or £3 per employee per week depending on the cover purchased, said HealthSure.
HealthSure head of marketing Raman Sankaran, said: “We’ve used more than 130 years of healthcare experience to create a well thought out policy that will help our intermediary contacts to provide tangible benefits to any business and provide a cost effective benefit that employees will use and value.
“Furthermore, the product’s affordability means that it is viable to introduce to all levels of staff and the areas of cover complement any existing PMI provision. We’re confident that intermediaries will benefit from higher commission potential as a result.
