Event insurance broker Heartland Events has appointed event and contingency insurance specialist Phillip Eaglestone.
Eaglestone has experience in the contingency and cancellation arena for Willis and Glencairn Group.
He has worked on accounts including the IAAF World Championships, Royal & Ancient Open Golf Championship, FIFA World Cup in Japan, F1 Grand Prix, UK International Air Tattoo and the Rugby World Cup.
"Phillip will greatly enhance the expertise at Heartland and assist with the development of its flourishing event insurance business," the company said in a statement.
