Heath Lambert has revealed its new Solicitors' Indemnity facility is proving a hit with small practices.
Heath Lambert said the new facility was launched to target small law firms that were being charged excessive premiums.
The facility provides quotes with a minimal premium increase on the previous year. The initiative also offers a "no claims discount" to encourage loyalty from policyholders.
Heath Lambert Professional Risks executive director Simon Brookes said: "We are partnered with an underwriter who has been very selective about the type of firm it wants in the insurance portfolio. As such, we are stripping out many of the practices that are higher risk and whose losses can affect premiums for the profession generally.
"While there is a genuine possibility we can substantially reduce a client's insurance costs, we also realise that it is not all about price.
"We are making sure that the administrative back-up and claims service clients receive from both the insurer and ourselves will be excellent, and we have created a simple and quick application process."
