Accident assistance company Helphire Group has signed a deal with legal expenses insurer DAS Group to provide its policyholders with replacement vehicles.
The deal effectively means that DAS will be responsible for paying Helphire's charges. Both parties agreed that there would be some credit hire provided but only at a small part of the whole.
The contract is expected to generate around 750 cases per month and will take effect from 1 January 2003.
Announcing the agreement, both parties said the contract should lead to a strategic alliance between the two organisations.
