Helphire Group has announced the launch of a specialist jewellery claims handling service.
Helphire claims the service will lower overhead costs for the insurer and improve customer satisfaction levels.
Helphire revealed that the service offers pre-loss valuations, claim handling, validation, fraud detection and discounted settlement.
Helphire Group chief executive Mark Jackson said: "In the last eight months we have invested substantially in creating a strong jewellery claim service for insurers.
"This includes provision of custom web-based software based on our experience of claims management and the jewellery expertise of e-register."
