PG Bradley & Co acquisition will bring £2.5m GWP

Leeds-based Henderson Insurance Brokers has snapped up a north Lincolnshire broker to bolster its presence in the region.

Commercial broker PG Bradley & Co, which has £2.5m gross written premium, will bolt on to Henderson’s existing business in the area, bringing the operation to £20m GWP.

All three staff and business from PG Bradley, which has been trading in the region since 1966, has transferred to Henderson.

Henderson chief executive Joe Henderson said: “This profile of acquisition complements existing offices. We have a number in the pipeline.”

As well as making bolt-on buys, Henderson is keen to do a large deal, having held “preliminary talks” with two targets.

PG Bradley managing director Derek Bradley said: “I’m confident our clients will benefit from the sale.”

Meanwhile, Henderson has swooped for two former Oval staffers. Richard Towler has joined as director of new business broking, and will be joined by Corinna Aston.
